Parliamentary Investigations

Criminal law regulations apply – with differences in detail –  to the taking of evidence in parliamentary investigative proceedings by the federal government and the German federal states. This is also fundamentally true if these laws have been modified – such as the Investigation Committee Law (PUAG) – in its own procedural law.

Our experience in criminal law and our special knowledge of parliamentary law benefit defendants and witnesses whom we represent in investigative committees and other legal parliamentary proceedings. In addition to representing and accompanying individual clients, Pauka, von Dreden & Link consults with agencies, parties, and companies involved in parliamentary investigative proceedings.
